Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing the SmartRefresh extension, creating an account, or using the platform at smartrefresh.app, you accept these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) in their entirety. If you disagree with any part, you must stop using the service.

The service is operated by SmartRefresh (“we”). You can contact us at hello@smartrefresh.app.

2. Description of the Service

SmartRefresh includes:

• The browser extension — available on the Chrome Web Store for Chrome, Edge, and other Chromium-based browsers. It automates page reloading and content change detection.
• The web platform — available at smartrefresh.app/app. Allows you to manage your account, link the extension with your plan, view active tabs, and manage your subscription.

Some features are available for free. Advanced features require a paid subscription (Pro or Team), detailed at smartrefresh.app/upgrade.

3. Account Registration

Some features require creating an account with your email address. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information and keeping it up to date.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• All activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Payment Plans and Subscriptions

Available payment plans:

• Pro — $8 USD/month per user. Includes random intervals, hard refresh, webhooks, automatic click on detected element, domain profiles, configurable keyboard shortcuts, and scheduled refresh.
• Team — $20 USD/month for up to 5 members (+$6 USD per additional member). Includes all Pro features plus team dashboard, remote control, and profile distribution.

Prices are in US dollars (USD) and include applicable taxes based on your location, managed by Lemon Squeezy (see section 5).

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of the billing period. Free features remain available indefinitely.

5. Payment Processing — Lemon Squeezy

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com), acting as the official Merchant of Record in all transactions. Lemon Squeezy is the legal seller responsible for billing, tax collection, and regulatory compliance in your jurisdiction.

By making a purchase, you also accept Lemon Squeezy’s Terms of Service. SmartRefresh does not store your full credit or debit card details.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal in your SmartRefresh account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refund requests are evaluated case by case. You may request one within 7 days of the charge by writing to hello@smartrefresh.app. Partial-period refunds are not issued except in the case of a technical error on our part.

7. Acceptable Use

SmartRefresh is designed for legitimate personal and professional use. The following are prohibited:

• Using the service for illegal, fraudulent activities, or activities that violate third-party rights.
• Intentionally overloading third-party servers through mass automated reloads for denial-of-service purposes.
• Scraping or extracting data from sites that expressly prohibit it in their terms of use.
• Attempting to access, modify, or interfere with SmartRefresh’s systems, servers, or data without authorization.
• Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing access to the service without prior written authorization.
• Sharing account credentials among multiple people on individual plans.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without refund.

8. Intellectual Property

The source code, design, texts, logo, and other SmartRefresh content are property of SmartRefresh and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service under these Terms. You may not copy, modify, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the extension or platform, except as permitted by applicable law or the published source code license.

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep the service continuously available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. We may perform maintenance that causes temporary interruptions. We are not responsible for losses resulting from service outages.

The service is provided “as is”, without express or implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. Configuring automatic reloads is the user’s responsibility; SmartRefresh is not responsible for consequences arising from use of the extension on third-party sites.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SmartRefresh and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including data loss, loss of revenue, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid in the past 12 months.

11. Privacy

The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

12. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue service features with or without prior notice. We will notify you of material changes to the Terms by publishing the updated version on this page with its revision date.

Continued use of the service after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
